Today lets tell a Vet how much we appreciate them!!!!!
Today is a holiday at school, so I have taken advantage of the free time.....I took the kids to school this am and proceeded to drink my cup of coffee, read emails, and sleep. I have not slept like that in a long time....Like, drool on the pillow and 10 minutes of confusion when I finally DID wake up.....sleep. It was wonderful.
So now I am off to catch up on all the things I should have been doing this am....like grocery shopping.....later yall.

"It feels like we went for a WHOLE DAY!!!!"
Today was the first day of school for the kids....a half day....Josh was so tired and overwhelmed he felt like he had been there all day.....he was proud of himself for not getting lost, and he has already picked out the pretty girls, so it was a good day for him....
Matt liked his first day of high school....he said he had to walk from one side to another all day but he had a good one.....
.........and so it begins

My babies are growing up too fast!!
Today was orientation and schedule distribution for 6th graders and 9th graders. I am so sad to see my boys growing up so fast, but I am excited for them and all the new experiences they will have.....Josh is petrified to change classes, and the combination lock for his locker is going to cause a nervous breakdown, but he is still excited.....Matt is his stoic, serious self....he isnt nervous (or at least he doesnt act like it) and he is indifferent to the whole thing. He has been practicing football for the last month and I guess feels like school has already started for him.....tomorrow is the first official day of school, so we will see how it goes for them....
